2.2.2_Simulation - Performing Keyword Searches

Navigation: Main Menu > eProcurement > Create Requisition

Purpose: Use this simulation to practice searching for items in the catalog using keywords when an item ID is not known.

Steps:

1. Enter the desired information into the Business Unit field. Enter

    a valid value
    e.g.
    "10000"
   .
   Step 1

2. Note: The Business Unit and Requester should default from your User Profile.

   Step 2

3. Enter the desired information into the Requester field. Enter

    a valid value
    e.g.
    "ROSER"
   .
   Step 3

4. Click the OK button.

   Step 4

5. Click the Continue button.

   Step 5

6. From the Web tab, click the PRODIGO eMARKETPLACE link.

   Step 6

7. Enter a keyword in the Search field. Enter "glove".

   Step 7

8. Click the Search button.

   Step 8

9. You can also search for items by vendor. 

    

   Enter a vendor name in the Search field. Enter "mckesson".

   Step 9

10. Click the Search button.

    Step 10

11. You can also perform a search using a BHSF Item ID.

     

    Enter an Item ID in the Search field. Enter "46971".

    Step 11

12. Click the Search button.

    Step 12

Congratulations! You have successfully performed keyword searches in the catalog.
