Purpose: Use this simulation to practice creating a Multi Resource Services Requisition.
Steps:
Click in the Business Unit field.
Note: the Business Unit and Requester fields should default based on user profiles.
Step 1Enter the desired information into the Requester field. Enter
Click in the Requester field.
Step 3Enter the desired information into the Requester field. Enter
Click the OK button.
Step 5Although not required, it is recommended that you enter a Requisition Name.
Enter the desired information into the Requisition Name field. Enter
Click the Continue button.
Step 7From the Services tab, enter the desired information into the Reference field. Enter "Statement of Work Example".
Step 8Click the Service Method list.
Step 9Click the Multi Resource list item.
Step 10Click the Look Up Service Type button.
Step 11Click the COMBO link.
Step 12Click the Look up Service (Alt+5) button.
Step 13Click the COMBINED link.
Step 14Click the Look up Requesting Dept (Alt+5) button.
Step 15Click in the Description field.
Step 16Enter the desired information into the Description field. Enter
Click the Look Up button.
Step 18Click the 45440 link.
Step 19Click the down arrow button of the vertical scrollbar to view additional screen information.
Step 20Click in the Start Date field.
Step 21Enter the desired information into the Start Date field. Enter "09/02/2014".
Note: You can also click the Calendar button to the right of the date field to select a date from the Calendar window.
Step 22If the End Date does not match the requisition requirements, change if needed.
Step 23Click in the Labor Amount field.
Step 24Enter the desired information into the Labor Amount field. Enter
Because this is a Multi Resource-based requisition line, you must enter a Labor Amount. the amount specified becomes the overall not to exceed total for the combined associated individual services.
Step 26Click in the Expense Amount field.
Step 27Enter the desired information into the Expense Amount field. Enter
Click the Add New Services button.
Step 29For additional resources, the Service Method (Resource) automatically populates.
Step 30Click the Look up Service Type (Alt+5) button.
Step 31Click the 644405 link.
Step 32Click the Look up Service (Alt+5) button.
Step 33Click the ITCONSULTING link.
Step 34Click the down arrow button of the vertical scrollbar to view additional screen information.
Step 35Click in the Rate field.
Step 36Enter the desired information into the Rate field. Enter
Click in the Expense Amount field.
Step 38Enter the desired information into the Expense Amount field. Enter
Click the Add Another Service button.
Step 40Click the Look up Service Type button.
Step 41Click the SUP link.
Step 42Click the Look up Service button.
Step 43Click the SERV_TECH link.
Step 44Click the down arrow button of the vertical scrollbar to view additional screen information.
Step 45Click in the Rate field.
Step 46Enter the desired information into the Rate field. Enter
Click in the Expense Amount field.
Step 48Enter the desired information into the Expense Amount field. Enter
Press [Enter] to have the remainder of the Rate Details populate.
Step 50Click the Continue button.
Step 51Click the Go to Submit Requisition button.
Step 52Click the Save & submit button.
Step 53The Confirmation page will display when either the Save & preview approvals button or the Save & submit button are clicked.
Step 54Congratulations! You have created a Multi Resource Service Requisition.
After clicking finish below, go to course outline, select
Lesson 2.7_Creating Special Request Requisitions (Concepts), and click Try It! to continue the lesson.
